I know we've got some guitar players on here. If you've never heard him play, here is Brushy One String.
I think his music is pretty cool.

thats a bass string, might be the E. but he can be just as good on a hollow log. very good singing the blues. ::tu::

Back in the 1950's there was a performer named Sonny Joe Landers who recorded a song called,"Cherokee Dance" on Specialty Records that featured an instrument called the Unitar.Alan Wilson from Canned Heat recorded it many years later.Sure sounds like a one string guitar to me.
