I hesitate to bring it up, but I wonder how much survivor's remorse factors into their decision to request interment into the Arizona.
I don't think they should have been remorseful of surviving the attack and the ship's sinking.
I'd like to think a desire to have a final resting place among their long lost brothers outweighs the need to be buried close to home and family.
I'd cry like a baby if I were permitted to attend one of those ceremonies.
God rest their souls and their brothers-in-arms welcome them back into the Ship's Company.

Hell, I tear up every time I see that video. I can't imagine what it would be like at an actual ceremony and that's for a complete stranger. That kind of stuff just tears me up.
As far as survivors guilt; I would think it would have to factor in, at least on a subconscious level. Doesn't matter. It's a great thing.
