OK Mike, how about this one from Case? Not as old as many of those shown but it's what I have.

Re: Hardware Display Cabinets
Here are a couple of Robeson displays.
The tall tower case is circa 1910.
The blonde case is from the 50's, early 60's.
(Sorry the pic was not taken of the case, per se, but you get the idea.)

Re: Hardware Display Cabinets
That tall case is something Charlie. I wonder if it is the only one out there like that?
Kathy and I stopped at an antique mall near Akron OH Saturday, and there was a Case Hardware display case there. It had $1200 on it, and that was enough to make me not even look closer at it. If anybody is interested, I will give you contact info.

Re: Hardware Display Cabinets
Brett, the National Knife Museum owns an identical case, but it's marked "TERRIER" instead of Robeson, which is why I date this one circa 1910.
Also, I had a 1910 Hibbard, Spencer & Bartlett catalog once, that showed the same case with an HSB marking.

Re: Hardware Display Cabinets
That is interesting. I have seen Hibbards, that the manufacturer can be guessed based on characteristics. Have you been able to identify Robeson knives made for Hibbard or any other hardwares?

Re: Hardware Display Cabinets
I had a four blade scout/utility that was marked Hibbard, but had the Robeson cap-lifter/can-opener, stubby screw-driver and punch blades, so it was definitely made by Robeson.
I sold it to a scout collector in Georgia.

Re: Hardware Display Cabinets
galvanic1882, it is amazing to see not only your collection of knives, but now to see your collection of cases, amazing! That JBF Champlin Galvanic is really neat to see, can't imagine there are more than just a handful out there in existence.
Charlie, I love the style of that ShureEdge tower case, that is a really a unique piece.
