Hello all,
I'm glad I found this forum. I have always loved knifes and always used them for work. I am in construction and have been for over 30 years now, even though I have worked my up to Project Manager I used to spend my long days in the field working with my hands.
My knifes were as much a part of everyday work as my boots were, I'm ashamed to say that they got as much use or abuse as my boots did.
Recently I have been going through my old items I have had stashed away for years and pulled out a old case knife, a old buck 703, my old timer 80T, my first release of the Leatherman among several other knifes.
Its sad to say these have been severely neglected over the years, some have broken tips on the main blade, lots of corrosion, and just plain dirty.
I'm hoping to get them cleaned up but I'm afraid the broken tips are battle scars they will carry for life. I did post up some pictures on the Case Collectors Forum in hopes of having this old case identified, it does not have any visible tang stamps remaining on it, it is well used and been a great knife, It was my Father-In-Laws knife for years before it became mine.
Anyway I'm glad to be a member here and I hope I will learn a lot from you guys.
