How do you remove those tiny scrathes on the bolsters?
I have a couple Case Saddlehorn pocket knives that I recently polished with turtle wax chrome polish and a microfiber rag. It still leaves those little tiny scratches all over the bolsters. Is there any way to polish the bolsters to a mirror finish with no scratches?

I've never tried it but I wonder if Jewelers Rouge would work.Hazieview wrote:I have a couple Case Saddlehorn pocket knives that I recently polished with turtle wax chrome polish and a microfiber rag. I'd try using a finer abrasive like Flitz and an old T-shirt. From there it should be about a 5 minute job.

if they`re deep i use 1500 up to 3000 wet sand paper from an autobody supply house . Then finish it off with "finekut" rubbing/polishing compound from the same place , its designed to polish the "clearcoat " thats sprayed over the basecoat of paint in automotive painting . as a member mentioned "jewelers rouge" is cerium oxide works also but usually sold by the pound and must be made into a paste .
