A Couple Knives For Marines
There is a joke among Marines that old Marines will buy anything that has a Marine Corps emblem on it or has USMC stamped on it somewhere. In my experience I have found this is true. I have a collection of all sorts of “Marine Corps” items. I thought it was time to do that with a knife only to dress it up a little bit and upgrade it from the old Camillus USMC ML-K knives.
The first one I did was a Schrade 124 UH. The blade was down on this knife so I replaced the blade with a new blade I had. I put red jigged bone on the handles and then inlet a Marine Corps eagle, globe & anchor for the shield. I found the results rather pleasing.
The second knife is a Camillus lockback that was made for David Yellowhorse, note the DY tang stamp. There were some of these knives on eBay sold without handles.
On this knife I disassembled it and drilled it for a lanyard tube. I put rope file work on the back spring, red popcorn jigged bone handles and I inlet a Marine Corps emblem into the handle.
I will post more knives as I have the chance.
Thanks for looking. I hope you enjoyed these.

Rule #9
I think I have seen most every episode of the first 8 seasons of NCIS at least 4 times!
The episodes of season nine I have probably seen 2 or 3 times and I think I have seen all of season ten released so far.
It is a good thing I am old & fall asleep in the middle of the episodes, I keep finding bits of some episodes I have missed!
It keeps things interesting!
My favorite episode is the newest one I have not seen yet!
My least favorite episode was the one where Kaitlin Todd was shot.
PS- Thanks for all the kind comments guys.............................................................. (I got carried away there with an NCIS moment).

Re: A Couple Knives For Marines
My favorite episode is the one about the old WWII Marine turning himself in (I don't remember what he supposedly did). I recorded it and have it around here somewhere on DVD. That one will make your eyes leak.

The guy was starting to loose his memory and his buddy was hit really badly and was he was trying to keep his buddy from moaning and alerting the enemy, (IIRC it was on Saipan).
He thought he the killed his buddy.
