Love those Morels!!! I do a quick saute in butter, deglaze the pan with a bit of cognac and add a bit of real cream. Why die slow! :)

Alright guys! I need a little edification on this.
Does this mean I can eat the ones I have been told all my life not to eat?

Ray from what I understand there are the morel mushroom and the false morel. The way you tell the difference is that the false morel the top will pop off the stem. The ones you can eat, the top and stem are all one. I cut the stems off before cooking.
