.....any of you guys have a "love affair" with henry rifles???.....finally bought one, the standard .22(H001), and i've fallen in love with it!!!(haven't fired it yet-can't find any ammo), the fit and finish is outstanding, as well as the smoothness of the action!!, a great american-made rifle!!!.... ....also got a catalog, and i didn't realize they were making a reproduction of the original henry(H011) in .44-40 caliber!!!...one of these has to go on my bucket list!!!!!!...... ...........

I have the .22 Golden Boy with octagonal barrel, been wanting to grab one of their .22MAG's with the high end wood........someday.

Thanks, they also have a real nice looking pump action .22, probably my favorite action for a rimfire.

My two best friends gave me a Henry Golden Boy in .17 HMR with a custom receiver for my 65th birthday. Love it. Love it. Love it. There's no way to tell you how proud I am of this rifle.

Ray, the two guys that gave that rifle to me are worth what ever I would have to trade for 'em and more and it's not because of the rifle. .......jerry, that's a beautiful gun!!!........and the 2 guys who gave it to you must be special!!!........i just got a flyer in the mail from henry, they are making a reproduction of the original henry in .44-40 caliber!!.....original was .44 rimfire which is no longer made. man, i wish i had never seen this!!....i may have to sell off some knives to get one of these!!!($2,300.00 msrp)................

I had one just like yours for a short time. I traded a used Ruger 10-22 with a scope and $50 at my lgs to it. After shooting the Henry I thought I ought to go back and apologize for beating out of a good gun!
For the time I had it it was great, and pretty darn accurate too. I would have it still, but a feller offered me a straight up trade on a 1958 Browning A5 Light Twelve, and I would have it still but I traded it at my lgs for a minty fresh 1962 Marlin 336 SC in .35 Remington. The Marlin isn't going anywhere.
