Keen Kutter official scout

Post by knife-nut »

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Rare-Ke ... 27d321d934 Looks like some one put a official shield in a Keen Kutter scout pattern knife. Keen Kutter never made an official scout knife. Or maybe they took the bone scale with the shield in it, and glued it on this frame. The backspring pin looks like it was not hammered or spun. ::td::

::hmm:: The handles and shield look like they might have started out on a Pal Boy Scout knife. ::shrug::

What really burns me is the seller saying, "Bought this from the original owner he had it since he was a kid... 100% original condition"

If it sells cheap enough, I may have to buy it, to restore back to original Keen Kutter non official scout. The blades are nice.
