Now that all the smart aleks are done. When you're composing your post, look to the immediate left of the text box where you're typing and click on the smiley you want to add. Notice there's a "View more smiles" underneath all the smiles which opens a box. At the bottom of the box you can click on the link "2" or "next" to view more choices. Click on "close window" once you've selected your smilies. They will appear in your text with a code such as colon (:) capital D which represents :D

"Now that all the smart aleks are done"

Wait a minute...............I resemble that remark ::sotb::

Thanks for typing it out in long form Jerry. I guess that would have been much easier than me selecting every one except the "Welcome" e motor com. I never realized how many there are until I did just that ::facepalm::

Well Tommy, you go down and buy yourself a roll of 100 ASA film... :lol: :lol:

I'm sorry ::facepalm:: I couldn't resist.

Anyway, several people on the forum use this website (including me). It's free for the taking and there are a ton of smileys and emoticons to choose from. Most stuff printed in red is a link and all you have to do is hover your cursor on it and left click your mouse to see the content (standard stuff so please excuse me if I get a little too basic here)

The link is Free Smileys

Scroll down on the home page and left click on your choice.
Smiley Page Menu.JPG

Right click on the "Forum" field. The URL will turn blue and you will get a drop down menu. Left click on "Copy". Go back to AAPK and place the cursor in the spot in your post where you want the smiley. Right click and choose "paste" from the drop down menu and left click on it. That's it. You don't have to use the "Img" or "URL" buttons. What you just posted is already set up to display the smiley or emoticon. Left click on the "Preview" button if you want to check it out and make sure it's what you want.

For those who already know all this stuff, move along. There's nothing to see here. Go back to your homes and lock the doors.

That's strange. I have an LG semi-smart phone and it has a cursor.

Hi Jerry! Looks like a "long-tap" is the action on this android brings menu icons to the top of the screen. Yes, there are curser and cut, copy and paste. Tricky to do a "long-tap" with my rather big fingers. Seems like I am "all thumbs". Any hints needed.
