Well Boys it been a little while since I've conversed. Let me say to Jerry D. You are a true friend! I found great value in your short notes of encouragement. Thank you Moose!
Life trudges on at work in the PICU,(Pediatric Intensive Care Unit). It's hard to see children sick, injured and sometimes die. But on the flip side, it's more than one can express in words to
see them heal, recover and have the opportunity for life as God intended.
My oldest daughter Rachael just graduated from The Juilliard School of music with her Masters degree in music. She is moving in Aug. to Munich, Germany to sing in a large opera company there.
My son Elliott is progressing to his 3rd year at Va. Tech as he continues to study Aerospace Engineering,( Go Hoakies!). My youngest, Aubry, (and late in life child) just graduated high school. She will be attending the Medical College of Va. to study medicine. I am so proud of them all!!! Still "look" at knives but I don't have the same drive to buy every one I see, as a matter of fact havn't had a "new" knife in some time, just been enjoying all the ones I have which makes my wife very happy as one can imagine. My big plans have been dashed,( I've been planning a one man camping trip these last 2 months). I was scheduled to leave and set up camp yesterday but this storm has brought nothing but rain for 2 days now and is forcast to rain up to Tue. and Wed. of next week. I really needed that time for refreshing. It must be a "man" thing for most of the women don't understand the desire to live outside, hunting, fishing and being self-reliant for a week. It grounds me and brings me back to my youthful energy. Even though I don't leave feedback as often as I have in the past, I still "check in" once a week or so to read and admire the awesome knives, stories and comments shared. Once a AAPK member always a AAPK member! Once again Jerry thanks buddy, and a "BIG" Hoooowdieeeeeeee, to the rest of the gang!!!
