8) Off to Vegas

A man came home from work one day to find his wife on the front porch with her bags packed.

'Just where the heck do you think you're going!', said the man.

'I'm going to Las Vegas', said the wife, 'I just found out I can get $400 a night for what I give you for free!

'The man said, 'Wait a minute!', and then ran inside the house only to come back a few minutes later with his suitcases in hand.

'Where the heck are you going?', said the wife.

The man said, 'I want to see how you're gonna live on $800 a year!'

8) Growing Wild

Here is this guy who really takes care of his body; he lifts weights and jogs five miles every day.

One morning, he looks into the mirror and admires his body. He notices that he is really sun tanned all over except one part and he decides to do something about it.

He goes to the beach, completely undresses and buries himself in the sand except for the one part sticking out.

Two little old ladies are strolling along the beach and one looks down and says, "There really is no justice in this world."

The other little old lady says, "What do you mean?"

The first little old lady says, "Look at that."

"When I was 10 years old, I was afraid of it."

"When I was 20 years old, I was curious about it."

"When I was 30 years old, I enjoyed it."

"When I was 40 years old, I asked for it."

"When I was 50 years old, I paid for it."

"When I was 60 years old, I prayed for it."

"When I was 70 years old, I forgot about it."

"And now that I'm 80, the damned things are growing wild!!"

Two guys are out fishing at their pond; just fishing quietly and
drinking beer. Almost silently, so as not
to scare the fish, Mel says, "I think I'm going to divorce my wife - she
hasn't spoken to me in over 2 months.
Earl continues slowly sipping his beer, then thoughtfully says, "You
better think it over - women
like that are hard to find."

ONCE A MARINE ALWAYS A MARINE!

On their 50th anniversary, a wife found the negligee she wore on her
wedding night and put it on. She went to her husband, a retired Marine, and asked,

Honey, do you remember this?"

He looked up from his newspaper and said; "Yes dear, I do. You wore
that same negligee the night we were married" She said, "Yes, that's right. Do you remember what you said to me that night?

He nodded and said "Yes dear, I said; Oh baby, I'm going to suck the
life out of those boobs and screw your brains out."

She giggled and said; "That's exactly what you said. So now it's fifty
years later, and I'm in the same negligee. What do you have to say tonight?"

He looked her up and down and said,"Mission Accomplished"

Subject: Scout Camp

Dear Mom & Dad,

Our Scoutmaster told us to write to our parents in case you saw the flood
on TV and are worried. We are okay. Only one of our tents and two sleeping
bags got washed away.

Luckily, none of us got drowned because we were all up on the mountain
looking for Adam when it happened. Oh yes, please call Adam's mother and
tell her he is okay. He can't write because of the cast.

I got to ride in one of the search and rescue jeeps. It was neat. We never
would have found Adam in the dark if it hadn't been for the lightning.
Scoutmaster Keith got mad at Adam for going on a hike alone without
telling anyone. Adam said he did tell him, but it was during the fire so
he probably didn't hear him.

Did you know that if you put gas on a fire, the gas will blow up? The wet
wood didn't burn, but one of the tents did and also some of our clothes.
Matthew is going to look weird until his hair grows back.

We will be home on Saturday if Scoutmaster Keith gets the bus fixed. It
wasn't his fault about the wreck. The brakes worked okay when we left.
Scoutmaster Keith said that with a bus that old you have to expect some
thing to break down; that's probably why he can't get insurance. We think
it's a neat bus.

He doesn't care if we get it dirty, and if it's hot, sometimes he lets us
ride on the fenders. It gets pretty hot with 45 people in a bus. He let us
take turns riding in the trailer until the highway patrol man stopped and
talked to us.

Scoutmaster Keith is a neat guy. Don't worry, he's a good driver. In fact,
he is teaching Jesse how to drive on the mountain roads where there isn't
any traffic. All we ever see up there are logging trucks.

This morning all of the guys were diving off the rocks and swimming out in
the lake. Scoutmaster Keith wouldn't let me because I can't swim, and Adam
was afraid he would sink because of his cast, so he let us take the canoe
across the lake. It was great. You can still see some of the trees under
the water from the flood.

Scoutmaster Keith isn't crabby like some Scoutmasters. He didn't even get
mad about us not wearing life jackets. He has to spend a lot of time
working on the bus so we are trying not to cause him any trouble.

Guess what?

We have all passed our first aid merit badges. When Andrew dived into the
lake and cut his arm, we got to see how a tourniquet works. Steven and I
threw up, but Scoutmaster Keith said it probably was just food poisoning
from the leftover chicken. He said they got sick that way with food they
ate in prison.

I'm so glad he got out and became our Scoutmaster. He said he sure figured
out how to get things done better while he was doing his time.

By the way, what is a pedal file?

I have to go now. We are going to town to mail our letters and buy some
more beer. Don't worry about anything. We are fine.

Love, Chris

Scoutmaster... ::doh:: ...

Was his father a priest?...  .. ::paranoid::

That letter made me think of my scout outing...
Scoutmaster handed out cigarettes to us if we did a good job... 8)

We also had a Scout paper-drive to make money for the outing.
One house every paper-drive slipped about 6 nude magazines in an envelope for us.... ::nod::

Wonder if rabbit backy was akin to what we called indian backy. It grew sort of like milo maize but the head was only about 1" in in dia. The seeds were tiny and hard, you roughed them up and they smoked pretty good. Tasted like a cross tween cayenne and gun powder.

A crusty old Marine Sergeant Major found himself at a gala event hosted by a local liberal arts college.

There was no shortage of extremely young idealistic ladies in attendance, one of whom approached the Sergeant Major for conversation.

"Excuse me, Sergeant Major, but you seem to be a very serious man. Is something bothering you?"

"Negative, ma'am. Just serious by nature."

The young lady looked at his Awards and Decorations and said, "It looks like you have seen a lot of action." Yes, ma'am, a lot of action. "The young lady, tiring of trying to start up a conversation, said, "You know, you should lighten up a little. Relax and enjoy yourself." The Sergeant Major just stared at her in a his serious manner.

Finally the young lady said, "You know, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but when is the last time you had sex?"

"1955, ma'am."

"Well, there you are. You really need to chill out and quit taking everything so seriously! I mean, no sex since 1955!

She took his hand and led him to a private room where she proceeded to "relax" him several times. Afterwards, panting for breath, she leaned against his bare chest and said, "Wow, you sure didn't forget much since 1955!"

The Sergeant Major, glancing at his watch, said in his serious voice, "I hope not, it's only 2130 now."

Don't ya love military time?

8) Getting The Job Done.

The LAPD, the FBI, & the CIA are all trying to prove that they are the best at apprehending criminals. The President decides to give them a test. He releases a rabbit into a forest and each of them has to catch it.

The CIA goes in. They place animal informants throughout the forest. They question all plant and mineral witnesses. After three months of extensive investigations they conclude that rabbits do not exist.

The FBI goes in. After two weeks with no leads they burn the forest, killing everything in it, including the rabbit and they make no apologies. The rabbit had it coming.

The LAPD goes in. They come out two hours later with a badly beaten bear. The bear is yelling, "Okay, okay, I'm a rabbit, I'm a rabbit!"

8)
A police officer, though scheduled for all-night duty at the station, was relieved of duty early and arrived home four hours ahead of schedule, at 2 in the morning. Not wanting to wake his wife, he undressed in the dark, crept into the bedroom and started to climb into bed. Just then, his wife sleepily sat up and said, "Mike, dearest, would you go down to the all-night drug store on the next block and get me some aspirin? I've got a splitting headache." "Certainly, honey," he said, and feeling his way across the dark room, he got dressed and walked over to the drug store. As he arrived, the pharmacist looked up in surprise, "Say," said the druggist, "I know you - aren't you a policeman? Officer Fenwick, right?" "Yeah, so?" said the officer. "Well what the heck are you doing all dressed up like the Fire Chief?"
