key chain PRY BAR - MOD

Post by junebug »

Well....i have been wanting a pry tool for my key chain for a while now.........
most run about $20.....and the COOL ones (Ti and the like)are $40 plus......then add shipping on top of any :D ...........
so i made my own ::tu::
out of a old RUSTY cap lifter....i collect these anyway and this was an EXTRA/dbl, that was in a pile i got...
i love these old openers........i have all diff kinds....... 8)

already had a key chain ring hole PLUS
was already about 4" ...the length of the longest thing that hangs down when car key in ignition PLUS
already had extra tools/features PLUS

anywho CUT OFF TIP so total length was 4"
cut a nail puller triangle
used dremel to round out or serrate the TRIANGLE
files chisel tip....left a lil blunt
made a flat head screw driver tip ,up top near key ring hole

THESE OLD UNITS ARE ALREADY MADE TOUGH , so will do a great job as a
pry tool
nail puller
scraper
screw driver
pot handle holder(left hook on for this)
bottle opener

EASY CHEESE HOME GARAGE MOD........
oh and they come bigger or smaller ,some pearl, some plain ,some fancy, and with slogans or characters......etc.....etc......etc...........

Very cool mod, Josh.

How strong is the steel on that for a prybar? I know it works well on bottle caps.

Lock up your church keys & saw blades folks. Josh is on the loose and his dremel is plugged in.

Clever little tools. At least you're doing something productive with your time (unlike me).
