Southeast Alaska -- The Inside Passage

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

So far we are having an exceptional summer......hope it holds out for you. If you have any extra time here in Juneau I would be happy to take you to any of the places that you want to go. The cruise ships dock right down town and that's where 99% of the tourist shops and tourist targeted businesses are but there are a few spots out here in the valley that a lot of folks visit such as the Mendenhall Glacier and The Shrine of St. Therese and a couple others. Also a couple pretty nice trails that aren't too difficult and can be walked in a couple hours, maybe less. I can grab my wife's F-350 Crew Cab and haul up to 5 of you if you want to get away from downtown. There are also a ton of other transportation options, but would be happy to cruise you anywhere you want to go. How many hours will you be on the ground here?

8) Thanks IM, that is really very Kind of you to offer! ::tu:: But I got to tell you my Wife and Daughter are Maniacs when it comes to planning tours and itineraries, they have got a bunch of stuff already planned for each stop. I just pay and Tag Along! If you want, PM me your phone number and I will let you know what day and hours I will be in Juneau. If by some chance I can squeeze it in we can meet and I'll buy you a couple of Beers. ::handshake::

OK, sending you a PM with my # and just call if you need anything while you are here in Juneau. You are going to love SE Alaska......it is easily the most beautiful part of the State. Make sure to let your wife know that you have free unlimited ground transport if you need it, and I can try and answer any other questions you may have. I have spent time in Ketchikan and Sitka too.

Trev, How was your trip to NY?
