Rehandled a USA Colonial Lockback

Post by wildcat »

I have been out of the game for a few years. Had alot of stuff going on in life but things have smoothed out the last few months so I got back to one of my favorite hobbies. I picked up this old US made Colonial knife at a flea market for $10 3 years ago. I love these old blades cuz they are made with carbon steel. I new it would be rehandled cuz the yellow plastic is horrific. A few days later i busted it apart and then it sat on my bench all this time. This morning i had an urge to work on a knife so i got this one out and finished it. Materials used are NS pins and sheet and natural micarta. I cut the washers out of NS sheet, drill the holes and made them round. That is a lot of work!

What do yall think?

Great job, I like it alot! Looks nice and slim too...those big chunky plastic handles weren't too pocket friendly...
