queen stuff

The Queen Cutlery Company manufactured knives in Titusville Pennsylvania for 96 years. The company opened its only factory there in 1919 and commenced to make some of the best US crafted cutlery you will find. Unfortunately, the Titusville manufacturing plant closed down in 2018.

Here are a coupla more pieces I brought home from Titusville. An old gal come in with a shopping bag full of stuff , saying her husband worked there 50 some yrs ago.
Fred Sampson told me the middle knife was absolutely a keeper.

I agree. That middle knife is definitely a keeper. Do you suppose those are steak knives or am I restating the obvious?

I believe they are paring knives.
The winterbottom one was an experiment gone wrong(crosshatch stamping) and the foreman liked it, according to Fred Sampson.
