RAP Old Cutler

Colonial Knife was incorporated in 1926 by three brothers; Antonio, Domenic, & Fredrick Paolantonio. It grew to become one of the largest pocket knife manufacturers in the US during the 1960s. The company shut down in 1998, but was back into production under the Colonial Cutlery International Corporation in 2001. Colonial Cutlery International, Inc. brand is the imported line of knives and tools while the U.S.A.- made products fall under the Colonial Knife brand.

RAP Old Cutler

Here is one I have been meaning to post for a while now.

After finding this stag handle stockman knife in 2012, I talked to Robert A Paolantonio (our friend Bobby) about it.
He told me that the RAP Old Cutler 5 Star Series was his OWN LINE - hand made and assembled by himself AND he
made them in different patterns and with different handle materials too.

I ended up sending the COA to Bobby and he signed it for me!!! He said it is the FIRST ONE he has ever signed!!! ::woot::
And THANK YOU Bobby, it will always be in my collection, no doubt.


O.K. folks, if you have any RAP Old Cutlers ~ let's see them! ::nod::

That's a great lookin' knife there...and the set is made even cooler with the autographed COA, very nice of Bobby to do that for ya!
Unfortunately I don't have any RAP Old Cutler knives to post here, but look forward to seeing some other's contributions...

Singin', I stumbled across this one at the world wide auction site ::paranoid:: with less than 20 mins to go AND I stole it!!
This thing is just almost a nail breaker too. Sure wish I could carry it... if I ever find a used one it WILL be in my pocket. ::tu::

I don't buy many modern knives but I'd take 1 of these over 10 Canal Street stags any day!! ::nod::

That's a nice one--think I had a bid on it been about a year ago I got company at the house and missed the end of the auction--
I just gave my son a RAP stockman with water buffalo scales it was a beauty no pic's can't find the charger for my camera :? I've got a couple more that are smooth bone one has brass bolster's that is pretty nice never been carried but I don't have box or paper with it been tempted to carry that one---they are really nice knives think Colonial dropped the ball on getting these out to the public back then
