Hello from NY

Post by jhj »

New to forum and collecting. I am civil war buff and started collecting relics. Have 6 dug knives not much to look at
but the stories they could tell. Would like to learn more on them. Is there a book on civil war knives? Is there other
members that collect them?

Welcome jhj. Glad to hear about your dug knives, as was already mentioned pictures would be great. I don't know of a book off hand but I as well as a lot of other members here collect knives made in that era. Books by Bernard Levine or John Goins give good information regarding knives from this time.

Glad to have you with us. I too am a Civil War buff but unfortunately I'm not highly focused on the artifacts. Would love to see photos of your finds.
