A Proper Introduction

Post by bestgear »

After reading through some of the new postings today I realized that I never took the time to properly introduce myself to my fellow knife collectors here at AAPK. I'm Tom Cosgrove and I live in Annapolis Maryland. I've been collecting folding knives since my grandfather gave me my first pocketknife (LF&C) in 1968. While I get jazzed about most folding knives I have focused my collection on Official Scout knives (Boy, Cub, Girl and Camp Fire Girl). I use Ed Holbrook's and Joe Kerr's books as the primary source for cataloging my collection along with old copies of Boys Life and supply catalogs and I maintain a list of about 50 knives that continue to elude me. Thank you for the kind replies I have received to my postings, I look forward to chatting with each of you and hope that someday our paths will cross real-time. Until then God Bless.
