Hello from South of Buffalo!
Morning all,
I stumbled across this site after trying to research some of the pocket knives I have accumulated over the last few years. It has not yet become an all consuming obsession, but I'm afraid I am well down that road! It all started with the Boy Scout knife that my Mom and Dad bought me, and that I carried religiously until I lost it many years ago. I learned a couple of lessons early on. One was that a good knife was something that I didn't want to be without, no matter what the situation. The other was that if you try to peel a golf ball in the back seat of a moving car, you are going to take a detour to the local emergency room to get your hand stitched back together! Not the last time I had to see those good folks...
I look forward to learning about the good stuff here. I'm glad I found a bunch of like minded folks who appreciate the value of a good piece of cutlery.
John

Welcome tac803
! About the middle of the winter, you'll need to remind our buddy Scott (TripleF), why he's in Florida. I don't think he has become a full fledged redneck yet because of the alligators, mosquitos, and humidity
