Neat little 3 1/2" knife slick black, Rat tail bolster Sway Back Jack.
Marked Schrade/Walden/NY USA. Knife appears unused. What is
the actual pattern called, age, handle material and close value.
Thanks

From 1932 supplement. The Schrade Walden version was probably quite early, 1947 to very early 1950s. The black celluloid has been shown to be extremely stable.

Looking in the Blades Guides To Knives and Their Values page 162 its could be a Sway-Back Jack. When it was made ,all I can say is before 1973 .I could not find it in the price lists..
I found a reference to a 2394 1/2B Schrade Cut Co.barehead 3 9/16".
Page 172 value $75. (listed under Curved Jacks and Congress Jacks )
Hope this helps.
