Schrade Longhorn - my first Schrade

The choice of Schrade knives is usually limited to chinese made tactical knives and other cheapos. I was quite surprised to find an american made Longhorn on the german Ebay.
It came in a fake-wood display board and a mostly deteriorated cardboard box. I spare you with pictures of the paraphernalia though....

The knife was never used and I reckon that it was made in 1975 due to the etch on the blade. Am I correct here?
Now I need more Schrades.......

Yes, I have the same one. I guess it´s a bad idea to store a knife for 39 years in the semi-openend position inside that display, isn´t it?

I took mine out of the display .
