Schrade 194OT

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

Schrade 194OT

Post by Producer »

Just arrived in the mail. My first 194ot
In pretty good shape but has some stains on the blade.
It's tight and locks up well though.
It was real dull but I don't think it has been used much.
Here's some pics, I really like it!

ps,plus a picture of it with a newly acquired Cammilus #22 for scale!
Thanks for looking, Harold

The 194OT is a favorite of mine.
They are a lot of fun to add a little bling to them.

They clean up nicely with some stag or bone stag handles and some filework on the backspring.

Thanks for the comments guys.
First time carry for me yesterday. It went along with my recently repaired 340T, thanks Dale!

I like the swayback type design on the 194. Looks neat and feels good too.
A UH197 w/Cal. clip sounds interesting.

So many knives, I want 2 of everything.
