Help to identify Schrade model numbers
I have a number (15 to 20) of this style of knife in different patterns, Canoe's, Lockbacks, multiblade. I know they are Schrade-IXL. I know they are Wostenholm. I know from Sheffield, England, I know they are Scrimshaw. They all have serial numbers. Here is the puzzle. The Scrimshaw is done on smooth bone. The camera does not do them justice. They are beautiful knives. I can't make out the signature under the scrimshaw. There is no model number on the blade.

See if you can make this out?

Thanks 0078. I really cant read the article but if it refers to the standard IXL sets, I have many sets. I quess I have never seen scrimshaw on not only IXL but on smooth bone also.

It looks like it might say Feehey but good luck finding who that is! It's definitely one of the beautifully made Schrade/IXL collaborative knives but it just looks like someone did Scrimshaw one it. Very nice piece.

Thanks bladeguy. Knives are 40 years old and came out of the Ellenville plant like that. They were a knife that was in the line but I can't find anything about them. They were in a wooden 2 knife box. I have one set of them that they are all ser # the same. Thanks again.. I'll keep diggin'.

Thanks Keith,
That's what I was looking for. Now only to find a value.
This is a great site.
I wish I would have found it years ago.
