Queen Canoe?

The Queen Cutlery Company manufactured knives in Titusville Pennsylvania for 96 years. The company opened its only factory there in 1919 and commenced to make some of the best US crafted cutlery you will find. Unfortunately, the Titusville manufacturing plant closed down in 2018.

Queen Canoe?

Post by mickeyevans »

what about this knife? I know the history of Queen, it was the second knife co to start over a baseball game
in 1969 the descendants of the "ball players" sold out to , Queen Cutlery parent company Servotronics Inc. (STV)
the stamp above was used before 76 to 83 when the number was added for the year, then the stamp we know now started
I'm thinking 1972 to 1976 for this one

Mickey, check the tang stamp charts here on the forum and you can narrow the date down to 1973-1975.
I've only have one Queen with real winterbottom handles, the others, very similar to the ones on your canoe are probably delrin. I believe a Queen Canoe is a pattern #64. That's a good looking knife ::tu:: .
