Camillus TL-29 to a Stag Barlow conversion

Here is a TL-29 conversion to a Barlow with stainless steel bolsters.
The reason for the stainless bolsters is because the customer wanted my logo on the bolsters.

I know stainless steel is much harder than nickel silver; I learned it is also much harder to shape and polish than nickel silver.

I thought it was pretty good for my first attempt of this kind. I will do some things differently next time to make it easier.

That's a handsome knife! And the Old Timer on the other page is great too. It is amazing what can be made from the TL29 pattern knives ::tu:: .

In my wildest dreams I'd never have thought that barlow started out as a TL-29. You've done an amazing job on this one Dale. ::tu::

I missed this post also....WOW...I am trying to imagine the TL-29...just know now its an awesome Barlow...Wonderful conversion.
