Are There Any BASEBALL Fans On The Forum?

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Time to break out the turkey feathers and chicken beaks - somebody put the hoodoo on the Braves bats.
Actually I guess I can blame the pitching this time...

Jerry you have me to thank for that Cubs win. Seems like every time I get a chance to watch a Reds game lately they lose. Guess who was watchin' last nite. ::dang::

Do you mean besides me?  So you're the reason they stopped serving beer by the middle of the 5th inning.

::dang:: Jerry, the reason they quit selling beer was cause the Reds pitching drank it up! ftd

I think the Red's pitchers thought that meant pitchers of beer.

She was a seesaw game until the ninth. I thought the Cubs might lose that one. I got to admit. The Cubs did knock 'em around a bit. I can't tell you how good it was to see some hitting by that club. All the starters got at least one knock except for Mike Olt and the pitcher, Jackson.

What does that tell you about the Cubs? :x

I'm predicting 60 games this year for the Cubs. No, no, not lost. 60 games won. ::facepalm::

Sorry JerryD…
I kinda feel sorry for the Cubs. Sorta. Just a little bit.
I really like Wrigley Field, I used to go to Chicago on business.

Hey, don't be sorry for winning. That's what it's all about. My problem is it hurts just that much more because I despise the Braves almost as much as I do the Yankees. It's that damned tomahawk chop y'all do. It annoys the crap out of me.

Cubs ----- 17
Cardinals - 5

I wish they'd saved some of those runs. I have a feeling they're going to need them. Maybe tonight.

Cubs seam to be the only ones that can hit wainwright this year. Should be a good game if you're cubs can get to him early.

Took two of three from the Cards at Wrigley. I don't expect them to repeat last night but hopefully the hits just keep on coming.

Jake Arrieta for the Cubs going against Wainwright tonight. Arrieta better bring his A game.

I love a good pitching match up. Wainwright is fun to watch. Not much reason to watch my marlins now that Fernandez is out for the season. ::facepalm::
