Here is a knife blank made by John Kiedaisch of JK Handmade Knives. It is one of his customer designs.

I finished it with Redwood Lace Burl.

No, I used to do them when I first started out, cause I felt they were easier to work on than folders. I've done a few here and there, but mostly folders now.

I don't know why, guess not too many people ask for them. ::shrug::

The ones that a challenge to me are the stick tangs. I have not done a lot of them, but I still learn something every time I do one.
That is what makes it fun to me.

Yes, I have mainly worked with full tang or the bifurcated tang. I did do one double edge dagger with the stick tang and screw-on pommel threads. I'll have to did it out and give you a laugh... ::facepalm::
