Found schrade switchblade blade

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

Found schrade switchblade blade

I was wondering if anyone knew if this blade would fit an old peachseed schrade switch blade with the same style blade? I have one (the switchblade) that works fine except the blade has play both back and forth and up and down. I guess what I'm really interested in is the way the tang is cut. The length and width I'm not sure of. They way that the tang is made is what interests me. Would that be the way my blade would look out of the body? Except I would imagine that the hole in my blade would be oblong? Thanks for taking the time to look. :)

I'm not positive but that looks like the blade from the orange handle auto with the parachute cutter.

That looks just like a blade for a Camillus switchblade with shroud cutter that I have apart on my bench.

I seriously doubt it would fit a Schrade; too many variables, blade thickness, the angle and depth of the cut in the tang, among other things.
