Old Colonial Barlow?

Colonial Knife was incorporated in 1926 by three brothers; Antonio, Domenic, & Fredrick Paolantonio. It grew to become one of the largest pocket knife manufacturers in the US during the 1960s. The company shut down in 1998, but was back into production under the Colonial Cutlery International Corporation in 2001. Colonial Cutlery International, Inc. brand is the imported line of knives and tools while the U.S.A.- made products fall under the Colonial Knife brand.

Old Colonial Barlow?

I was giving this old Colonial Barlow by my Dad the other day. The pictures don't do it justice. It looks worse in the pictures. I can't get over how sharp it will get. The lock-up is perfect, very strong knife. Can you guys tell me how old it is. Just curious. I am proud to have it, I have been carrying it every day. Thanks and God Bless

Could be from the mid 40's from this research info.

That style barlow was part of the RANGER line, introduced in the 1970's.

Thanks for the information. I will always keep this Barlow because my Dad gave it to me. I will pass it down to my son. This makes my 5th Colonial knife. I have three Rangers, a Barlow and a Old Cutler. The steel in this knife is great. Razor sharp. God bless
