2 OT back to life

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

2 OT back to life

Post by galvanic1882 »

I have liked this pattern that Schrade made but have not owned one till I bought this old one that needed some work. I also did not own a knife that was customized by Herman Williams either. So I got in touch with Mr Williams and asked him to work on this one and here are the results. The knife looks way better then my bad pictures!!

You really got yourself something there. A 2OT and a Herman Williams original. How could it get any better than that?

She sure is a beauty and very fitting to have Mr. Williams do the revitalization. I have a few 2 OTs that I would love to get something along this line done up!

You must be very happy with the outcome.

Great save Mike! And who better to do the work in Herman Williams!
That's definitely a keeper!

However, I am with Grant, that is the first to OT I have seen that didn't have bone handles on it. ::shrug::

Nice find and great save! ::tu::

Oh my, that looks amazing. I've got a 2OT, but it's kind of a jalopy, especially compared to your after knife!
