Kabar 1052
Cute little 2 blade serpentine stockman (2-3/4" closed 6" open) I cleaned up and gave to my son. A buddy at work who runs a metal detector found it under a couple of inches of dirt around an old building foundation. It was chocked full of dirt and didn't open. A little CLP and elbow grease and the little guy has a new lease on life.

nice save
I'm sure your son will really like that one. Post some before pics if you have them.

Wish I had thought about some before shots, but I truly didn't think it was going to open much less clean up and take a bit of edge.Lawrence wrote:nice saveI'm sure your son will really like that one. Post some before pics if you have them.

You're right, probably a bit tough on the back spring,
but now it belongs to a "hammer" of a 14 year old boy.
