Alabama Damascus

Post by btrwtr »

Finally got these 3 finished up. They took a pretty good edge but I'll be interested to see how the hold up under use. I know where there are going so I keep track with the owners to see how the steel performs in the field.

I handled 2 of them in Sambar stag and the third with fossilized mammoth ivory. Nickle silver guards and black vulcanized paper handle spacers. The 2 stag handles have stainless steel lanyard tubes. Small drop point hunters with 2 3/4" blades. Hollow ground on an 8" wheel.

All 3 look good great but the one in the middle catches my eye! I'm not really up on "fossilized mammoth ivory", it just looks like it would feel good to these ol' hands ::tu:: .
