Where my knife money went.....
Here is the reason i never had as much knife money as i would like. It is a 1966 Chevy short bed, custom cab fleetside. I had it for about 8 years and have sunk thousands of $$ into it. Sad thing is it still needs thousands more to get it where i wanted it
Well now it has found a new home, I sold it to my brother
Now that frees up some knife money

Nooooooo not the truck....
Say it's not so, you got rid of the truck.......
That is one sweet looking ride you have there useem.
At least you went from one obsession to another, I like the thought process that it frees up more money to feed the other..
Ahem..
Since you now have a little more money available to spend on knives follow me out to the trunk of my car and let me show you a knife or two I was planning to get rid of...

Come to think of it I had a 70 Chevy. I had an uncle die and he left it for me. I don't remember if it was a C serieries or K series, but it was ALWAYS hard to find parts for. It still had split rims, nobody wanted to work with those. Took it apart and found it had a nice 350 with a 4 bolt main.
It was certainly heavy duty, an oversize radiator, oil cooler and transmission cooler.
Being that I already had a 4 x 4 1983 Toyota truck, I sold the Chevy. Only 2 wheel drive truck I ever had.
Man, I wish I had BOTH of those back, the Chevy ran so smooth.
