I tell ya, that's some nice stag on that GEC! Think about this Tim, if you have some old coins, old ruler or old skeleton key layin round, they make good props too!

Great photos Tim and Perry. Such nice knives too. I am going to lower the tone a bit with these two: both have lost the tip on the main blade before I ever saw them.

How do you like that beaver tail?I have been thinking of getting one just don't know that much about them.

Great knife !!!! a little heavy for some to carry,but I like the bigger knives (4 inch) ---same size as the 2014 AAPK club knives ---they are sorta hard to find

GEC has not made them in awhile ( 2010*** ) good luck,Monk

My buddy, Monkey Man. You are a reincarnation of my dearly departed father, gone these past 26 years. (sometimes it seems like it was just yesterday). That man never threw away anything! He had a box that nails for a pneumatic nailer came in and it was full of "trinkets". Some he picked up on the job, some were leftovers from a project. For years it was the first place I went when I needed a screw, bracket, nail or some such and didn't have it in my assortment of "trinkets". It seldom let me down.

Jerry I've got a large metal pot like that stashed under my workbench. An old friend of mine, (a noted packrat) gave me a pot full of misc. trinkets 20+ years ago. I've used no telling how many screws, bolts, springs and what have you out of that pot over the years. Whenever I have some odd ball item that's currently of no use to me what so ever, I toss it into that pot. It's amazing how often something I put in there a few years prior is just what I need for my current project..............Maybe there's a lesson there somewhere.

I have a bunch of plastic Gatorade containers full of various bits and pieces of stuff. I hate to throw away an extra screw or bolt that comes with something, and sometimes when I throw stuff away I pull some parts that I think may someday be useful. They usually are not.

All that stuff can sure come in very handy while on a project and you're looking for just that right size screw or nail!

Hey Monk, is that red stag on the UNXLD you posted one page back? I know it says natural stag on the main blade but was just wondering cause it has so much red in it! Awesome!

Here's some of my current favs! 2 Washington Jacks on the 77 frame. And the BF 2014 stag Jack also on the 77 frame. And finally a TC Barlow on the 15 frame.
