I know it will! From the bolsters to the buffalo shield, the pulls and all, Bob sure knows how to make you want a knife,,woah! Cripple Creek is second to none with these features.

Tim - that Cripple Creek is just beautifully photographed. Yeah, I know, having a beautiful subject helps, but that is good work.

I have only one MOP knife, though that is subject to change. I have about concluded that MOP is the most difficult thing I know of to photograph. Here is another effort.

I would say that nailed it Mel! You're right, MOP is very hard to shoot successfully, but you did it. Love the layout too!

BTW, this was my knife before anything was sanded or colored by me.
When I received it, it was too black and too white!

Dinadan, great job on that MOP photo. As you stated, it's not easy to do.

Singin I think you did a nice job on your sanding, I like seeing how people make a knife their own.

Perry, very nice work on that knife. I hate to imagine how hard it would be for me to make the first pass with the sandpaper on a knife that was already so good. But it definitely looks even better now.

I was concerned Mel, but I had practiced on some sheds before I started on the handles of that BF stag jack. This helped me see how quick or slow the sanding would effect it and allowed me some valuable "no sweat" trails. By the time I started sanding on the knife, I was relaxed and in no hurry.

So I picked up a cheap collapsible light box a year ago or so and haven't used it because it came with crappy lights. Been intending to get a couple lights and haven't but decided to just set it up in the garage and try a couple smart phone pics. These are the first 2 pics, still need better light and to work on the background and knife positioning to reduce reflections......but for phone pics they came out nice.
