Queen Collectors! need help

The Queen Cutlery Company manufactured knives in Titusville Pennsylvania for 96 years. The company opened its only factory there in 1919 and commenced to make some of the best US crafted cutlery you will find. Unfortunately, the Titusville manufacturing plant closed down in 2018.

SM253 sounds like Schatt & Morgan marks

I agree with Gino, #2. essentially because of the length closed and the squarish bolsters. You can check Queen Historical documents under "Advertizing material" for catalog images, or "statistical reports" for history of Model 2 production. The Schatt & Morgan numbers are usually longer than 3 digits and quite variable - so I would lean too heavy on the 253 number, especially on Ebay - see ALL kinds of stuff wrong there.
