Is there a way to date this knife by the serial numbers?

Not sure what you mean by serial numbers......but there is a way to loosely date Schrade knives.

For the most part Schrade was interested in making and selling knives, not keeping records. Mostly Schrade made tools, knives people used in their daily lives, it was only in the last few years of the company that they even made a modest effort to tap into the collectable knife market.
