Would like to know a little history on this one before I put it up for sale and a value .
4 1/4" closed marked stainless . Blade looks fairly full but defiantly used .
Blade is pretty tight both ways very little play .

Just a guess based on the bullfighting scene on the pile side of the knife but I don't think it's any of the oriental countries named. IMO, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela and Peru are better prospects. ::shrug:: Since there's no country of origin mark on it, maybe a souvenir brought back from one of those countries. There's a lot of border town traffic with Mexico.

I'm wrong enough that it wouldn't be a shocker if I were wrong again.

That particular knife style I first saw on a Japanese knife made in the early 60's and later from Mexico and eventually China. The Japanese ones were usually so marked as were the Mexican versions so it is possible that it could be of Chinese origin as they are rarely marked.

Many were not marked at all. The bullfighter/dragon knives were Japanese-mostly sold in Mexico to US tourists.
