Mighty fine Beer Scout knife, Monk! Does GEC call the main blade a sheepsfoot or a wharncliffe?

Tim - I like the main blade on that Fight'n Rooster. It looks very pointy.

Thanks. I have a Schatt and Morgan that has a similar main blade. I consider it a Sheepsfoot, but I think Queen may have called it a wharncliffe.

Nice work, especially if that blade is as hard as I suspect. I have a Condor machete and the steel is very hard. Normally I use a file to smooth out dings in a machete, but that Condor is too hard for a file to work. Have to use a stone.

What did you use to saw the lighter wood?
What is the name on the tang stamp ????? Cutlery/Made in U.S.A.?

I DUNNO.....but "LOOKS" like a QUEEN made on contract by GREAT EASTERN CUTLERY
either a 72 or 73 pattern.....i ferget which at the moment

didn't think i would like the POUCH style sheath.....but i really like it now that i TRIED IT!

and talk about WELL MADE in construction......carbon steel blades........CONDOR has it down IMPO !!!

Regular hand saw.
It's a GEC, 73 pattern with custom camel bone scales.......was a gift from my buddy MONK
