I have made a living in the papermill industry and have a few of these knives,most up here in Maine are Schrades as is this one.

I had not really given any thoughts to the felt knives except that I really like the CAMILLUS 23 because it is a large jack.
If I remember correctly, GNP was a felt manufacturer.
