post your super bargains!!!

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

Iwonder what that patch on the first one is made of? I've just got to have some of that material.

I thought this thread was going to be about the knives you got for a song and sang it yourself. :?

Looks like Bondo. He could have at least sanded it a bit or maybe thats meant to be the jigging. I find it hard to believe that Rhett Sidham would have had that proudly displayed in his collection.

I don't think 2% of the 'Stidham' knives promoted are anything of the kind. He would be embarrassed to tears to see some of this crap.

That custom fixed blade LB7 is a work of art. The weld is so smooth you hardly notice it as it transitions into the dildo shaped stag like handle.

Hal, that comment sounded like an excerpt from a Danielle Steele romance novel. Very subtle ennuindo.

Is that a duck billed platypus or one of the heads of Cerberus on the end of that thang?
