That's the guy I talked to this afternoon. Amazingly
he was able to help. I have not had service for three days. The first call ended with them telling me there was a problem with my computer
. Not so and during a subsequent call I finally received some help. I am way behind in my reading but at least I am smiling again

I always ask for second level support. If they refuse, then I always ask them, OK, I want to go into the command line and ping test a website because I can't reach this site that I use daily. (I did this when I could not log in to a site and found a bad device). Then I ask them if they can help me tweak something in the registry.
The first one almost always works (except once), if not the second always does.
Bottom line, ALWAYS find a way to go to second level support!
Welcome Back!
