Early Eye Brand - Schlieper

Post by Paladin »

Since the subject of WWII and earlier Eye Brands has come up on occasion here, I spotted one on the Bay that may fit the bill and attach a link to it here. It is a dagger and the knife has only one purpose I would think.
I hope someone here bought it.
Am I certain about the date? Not really but if you told me it dated to WWI, I would not argue about it.

Good find, Ray. Agree as to possible dating. Had it been made during WWII it would have had a Swastika somewhere on the blade or handle. Definitely a Schlieper old timer.
