Texas Ranger Commemorative........................
My little brother gave this to me..................yea, I was shocked!
He handed it to me when I picked him up to go hunting this year, he said it was a late Birthday present. Hummmmmm...............what is he up to
(this guy squeaks when he walks.) I'm thinking to myself, he didn't run over my dog, wreck my truck, run off with my wife. What's going on here? Well, two months later, still no bad news..........................maybe people can change.
It's a Texas Rangers 150 year (1823-1973) Commemorative set. An unfired Smith & Wesson model 19 357 magnum with matching S & W Bowie knife, in a nice wood display box.
But I keep expecting that phone call.........................Gary, oh by the way I,,,,,,,,,.............

Well, to tell you the truth Gary, I'm 1 of 5 sons born to my mother and Dad. We were all taught when we were being raised that if your brother had a need or a want for something that one of us may have had, and we didn't need it, we gave it to the one in need or that wanted it. That's been almost 5 decades ago, and believe it or not, it still goes like that between all 5 of us brothers to this day. Mom & Dad always used to tell us, "family is more important and worth more than anything else in this world. Always remember that." I guess it stuck in what little brain I had because there is no way that I could lay down at night thinking my brother needed or wanted something that I have, and I wouldn't or didn't give it to him. I was just joking in my other post but, you have a good brother from what you've told me so far. There are many in this world that wish they could have family like that. So, I give your brother 2
for being that kind of brother. Your parents did their job very well sir.
