Star Spangled Trapper

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

I got this new Trapper in today, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful new ones I have bought recently.

The stars and stripes are carved in relief. It is a stunning handle!

Just out of curiosity, how is the overall quality? I haven't bought a new Case in many years. The last ones I bought had "acceptable" snap at best and the fit & finish wasn't that much better. Hope yours is at least "very good".

Greg,

That is a beauty!
I have a H & R Star Spangled stockman that is pretty, but it doesn't compare to yours.

Thanks Greg:

That kind of restores my faith in WR Case & Sons. I'm glad to hear that.
