Let's make it a trio - here's an Empire Wharncliffe in MOP - same pattern, shield and knife except the bolsters on mine were different (maybe called pinched - not sure of the right term - to me not rat-tail) - and now we can see each different version with varying covers

What other covers did Empire use on these Wharncliffes? Maybe we can get all of them here....

Joe - No model # on pile side of tang.... Only my Empire Bullhead Jack has a model # which I believe, though I can be wrong, was later in the production years of Empire...

Nice knives Greg and Joe ... Nice bone on your knife Greg and that shield is indeed a classic Empire mark!! Joe - hard not to like a dogleg jack - that pattern is quite appealing to me and probably why I like serpentine and wharncliffe knives - something about the curves

Actually Greg while I find Empires less hard to find in general than some other CT cutleries I do have to say that finding them in the condition that meets our own criteria in terms of condition is more difficult... and notably, as just one other example, for me finding Challenge Cutlery Co knives in good condition is more difficult though you always see many... for me I think I have gone through a collecting evolution where I have become more picky and money tighter so perhaps that impacts my viewpoint in terms of what I pull the trigger on... again not to be misinterpreted both those knives from you and Joe are quite nice!!

I think tj calls this knife with this double cut a Radio Knife. And this one is pretty cool as it is a lock back.
It's got a little work box rash but it's still very solid. 3 5/8".
