Help with research on Vintage WWI era henckels?

Looking for some info on this knife I recently picked up. Nice old henckels with jigged wood handle and sterling silver mountings.

On the backside of the blade is etched Kriegs-Weihnarhten 1915 bayr. L.J.R No. 6


The best translation I can come up with is "Christmas ceasefire 1915" (BUT THE CEASEFIRE WAS IN 1914?) and assuming bayr. is short for bayerisch that would translate to Bavarian L.J.R No.6

my biggest question is what is the L.J.R No.6? initials? some German outfit in Bavaria?

I know next to nothing about German military so hoping someone here may be able to fill in the gaps

Kriegs Weihnachten means War Christmas.Bayr can mean Bayern(Bavaria) or Bayreuth a German town.For the rest I have no clue.Gus.

A buddy who specializes in German Militaria says "the L.J.R No.6 is most likely,,,,Bavarian LandJager Regiment #6,,,,".
