Bone or Delrin?

Post by XX Case XX »

These handles came off a Camillus 69 Deluxe. I can't tell if they're bone or delrin. Anyone? Anyone?

Get yourself one of these. It will remove all doubt and you can get one off eBay (out of China) for under two bucks, shipped.

I order them 2 or 3 at a time.
It is a lot more expensive to replace the batteries in one of them than it is to buy 3 new ones. ::nod::

Me too! And I have one in my pocket most of the time. When the batteries run down just throw it away and pull out another. ::tu::

I bought ten replacement batteries for a dollar (including shipping). They're on their way.

 ::tu:: I have a very small keychain flashlight that uses 4 of those same batteries. It came with an extra set of batteries. But getting them all inside that little tube, all oriented in the correct polarity direction, is near impossible! ::doh::

Just think Ken, somewhere in China there's a guy who can do that with his eyes closed and never miss a beat.

There must be a family of 10,000 people installs little batteries in all of the things that they make over there! They think the batteries are made just small enough so American fingers have trouble installing them.

Another thing to ponder: Most batteries are made in China these days. As Jerry noted you can buy 10 of those batteries for one dollar ship to you here in the United States. If you buy batteries that are purchased in bulk and branded with a national brand like Eveready or Duracell it costs you $7.95 for two of those batteries! ::uc::
