Edit: Looked again and thought it had something to do with your membership tier but the monkey man is a gold tier member so I guess that's not it.

If it doesn't work for you could you please specify how you are accessing AAPK. For, example are you using a PC with Internet Explorer, Android phone, etc.

google / firefox -- what's a browser ??
I can get ""new topic"" on all other forums -- must be a ""block to sell"" for non-subscribers ?? - but if I wanted to sell a knife,I could just list it in ""knife trading"" -- I feel like Bryan, will get the bugs out soon

The browser is the application you use to navigate the internet. I have some connection issues on certain websites when I use Firefox so I downloaded Google Chrome and switch back and forth if one doesn't work properly.big monk wrote:google / firefox -- what's a browser ??

I just now noticed about the supporting membership info. I'm glad to help out the site, and am going to buy a membership right now. Even though I rarely list anything for sale, I'm happy to contribute to this wealth of knowledge and community of good people.

Re: New requirements for selling & advertising on the forums
Does anyone happen to know the knife pattern used in the 2017 AAPK badge? It is a most excellent choice regardless of what the pattern happens to be.
I think it is a Case Tested XX 5394 1/2. It looks like a Case knife (see shield) and the stamp looks to be Case Tested XX. I don't believe a Tested XX 3 blade 30 pattern was made in stag and, likewise, I don't believe a Tested XX 3 blade 45 was made in stag.
Bryan, if you're reading, have pictures and the inclination to post them, I would be grateful to see the "model" for the badge.

I don't sell any knives; however, this is an amazing site full of great knife and knife relate information. Many very knowledgeable, thoughtful and helpful people. I have learned a lot since joining. Just glad that I can help support the efforts.
Thank you Bryan for making this a great place to be.

The new topic button only show's up once in awhile. when it does I get a message "You cannot post in this form" see attached screen shots. I've tried IE, Chrome, and Firefox.
